all good things

2014

spending 16 weeks with 2 letters to explore LETTER form, space, and interaction through hundreds of concepts.

All Good Things is a collection of hand drawn and computer sketches over the course of 16 weeks featuring different combinations and interactions of the letters โ€œAโ€ and โ€œZ.โ€ The final solution is featured and represents the culmination of the journey. The solution is mostly boxed in creating a strong and sturdy look while the bottom left corner of the โ€œZโ€ is dynamic and breaking out of the box.

The title of the book comes from the mostly good, but sometimes painful journey to the end. Even during times of frustration, I looked back and saw that every part of this process was, in fact, all good things, because of the amount I grew as a designer dealing with type.

Thanks for your time! Keep the good times rolling, below.
