mobe3 is a revolutionary, cloud-based Warehouse Management Systems that uses machine learning and scenario modeling to create individual efficient warehouses. It is the only WMS on iOS.

Traditional WMS' come with bulky, heavy scanners, and are not designed with the user in mind. They're not only out-dated and difficult to use, but they leave so many user needs unmet, forcing companies to buy multiple products. mobe3 is working to solve that.

The process

To get an introduction into the world of warehouse management, I began general discovery by conducting several user interviews (on-sight and remote) and observing of warehouse employees who were using our legacy products. From that data, I was able to produce baseline personas, identified user needs and developed user journeys to focus on.

Ideation, concept sketching, prioritizing and wireframes came next. We were able to identify some low hanging fruit along with smaller features that would not take the amount of resources like major features. In between those smaller features, I've developed and designed two major features: a new picking method (found on this page) and a scale integration made for stationary iPads which can be found here.

Moving into mid and high fidelity designs, prototypes were made to test with users remotely to ensure usability and to gather feedback while working with development to implement validated designs.
